How to Delete Your SpeakAmerica Account
We value your privacy and data security. If you wish to delete your SpeakAmerica account and permanently remove all your progress, history, and profile data from our databases, you can do so by submitting an email request.
Important: Account deletion is permanent. Once completed, your lesson progress, speaking practice history, scores, and profile records cannot be recovered.
⚠️ Banned Accounts & Security Policy:
- Active suspension/ban: If your account is currently suspended or banned, your deletion request will not be accepted or processed.
- Expired ban period: If your account’s ban period has ended and you submit a deletion request, your personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of the request date. This waiting period is maintained for security, fraud prevention, and verification purposes.
- Previously banned accounts: If your account was ever suspended or banned in the past, a 30-day security cooldown will be applied before your data is permanently deleted.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Use Registered Email: You MUST send the email from the exact email address associated with your SpeakAmerica profile (the Google account you use to sign in). For security reasons, requests sent from other email addresses cannot be processed.
- Provide a Reason: In your email, please state the reason why you wish to delete your account (e.g., privacy concerns, not using the app, found another tool, etc.). This helps us improve SpeakAmerica for other users.
- Compose a new email addressed to business.samarpan@gmail.com.
- Set the subject line as Request to Delete SpeakAmerica Account.
- State your request clearly or use the template below, making sure to fill in your registered email and the reason for deletion.
- Send the email. Our support team will process your request and permanently delete your account within 7 business days.
